Happy Halloween!

We had such a great night tonight! We were worried that we were going to get rained out, but the weather ended up clearing up just before it got dark. The night was perfect and the weather was cool, which resulted in "NO" complaints from the children that their costumes were too hot! Which is always a concern in South Florida! You should of seen our train of 14 children going house to house. They were all so adorable! When we got home they all immediately sat down and dumped out their bags to see what kind of treats they got. With all the kids candy laid out you could barely see the floor. It was hilarious and probably the only time that you could have 14 children unattended without a sound coming out of the room. All of us adults actually got to sit around and have adult conversation without getting interuppted every 2 minutes! We all had so much fun. Can't wait to do it again next year! I hope everyone else had a happy and safe halloween as well. Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!

Pumpkin Patch...

We were a little late getting to the pumpkin patch this year, but somehow we fit it in yesterday! We spent the weekend in Port Charlotte visiting Tommy's family and when we got back into town the pumpkin patch we always go to was already out of pumpkins. So, we headed over to the farmer's market where they thankfully had a few pumpkins left. Picking our pumpkin was much easier this year since they didn't have very many to choose from. The boys didn't seem to mind and left very happy with the pumpkin they picked!

A brief look....

into the future is what I got today! As I sat outside and listened to the boys conversation and watched them play I could only envision them 12 years from now in high school. Their conversation consisted of sports, school, and their "new girlfriends". It went like this:

Tyler: Julian I have a new girlfriend...her name is Erin!

Julian: I have a girlfriend too.

Tyler: My girlfriend smiled at me four times today or maybe it was five.

Julian: Umm, my girlfriend is in my class she doesn't know I like her.

Dylan: I have a girlfriend

Tyler: I know Dylan remember I said you can like Kylie.

Dylan: My girlfriend is ten...no five.

Tyler: Well, we can't have girlfriends now only when we are like 16.

Julian: I am going to do karate.

Tyler: I am going to play basketball and baseball.

Dylan: I play baseball.

Tyler: Julian my girlfriend and I both have the same amount of punches so we get to pick out of the treasure box tomorrow at the same time...isn't that cool!

Julian: Yeah, when I grow up I want to be a daddy!

Tyler: Julian you want to shoot hoops?

Julian: Sure!

I tried to video it but the wind was blowing to hard so you couldn't hear the conversation. It was so funny and all I could think was I don't know if I will ever be ready for this! I have a feeling Tommy and I are going to have our hands full with these boys!

Dylan's 1st day of Preschool...

I was just uploading pictures onto the computer and didn't realize that Tommy had taken these pictures of Dylan's first day of preschool. My hubby is getting major props for this considering I forgot to bring my camera to work and I didn't even ask him to do this for me!! Tommy is doing such a great job getting the kids off to school each morning. He gets them up, dressed, feed and then drops Dylan off to me and then heads to drop off Tyler and I might add he is always on time! This was a bit of an adjustment for all of us, but I guess it's just part of this crazy life we live!
Dylan is doing wonderful in school. It's so neat for me to be able to be with him each morning! He is already learning so much and has made new little buddies. I was worried that Dylan was going to be very clingy to me and not like the fact that I had to pay attention to fifteen other children, but it didn't effect him one bit! Hopefully, things will continue to stay this way because it's only been two weeks!

I just can't keep up....

with the blogging world! I few weeks ago it seemed like I was able to get on the computer and blog atleast every other day, but these days I feel like I don't have a second. It seemed like a few weeks ago I was trying to think of things to blog about and now I have so many things I want to share but can't find the time! I don't even know where to begin and since I only have a few minutes because I am suppose to be packing lunches let me break it down quickly...lets see:

Our weekend to remember was absolutely amazing! Tommy and I had a wonderful time and learned so many awesome things!

I started my new job last week. For those of you that don't know I was offered a pre-school teacher position and decided to take it. I am really enjoying it and the best part..Dylan gets to go to school with me!

Tommy will also begin working tomorrow. He is going to be working construction for a company he worked for a few years ago. We had to do a little shuffling with getting Tyler from school but it is all working out perfect.

Tyler learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. This was one of the scariest things I watched him do. I have a video clip I will post later.

Dylan also advanced from his big wheels to Tyler's bike w/training wheels!

Tyler has also taken on a new hobby....fishing. That's all the boys did this weekend. He caught his first fish today.

And tonight we buzzed the boys hair off. Since Tommy has to get them ready for school in the morning doing their hair is the one thing he hates. All last week the boys sported mohawks. So, for now this is the most practical hair-do!

As you can see we are definitely dealing with a few changes to our off-season, but it seems like everyone's handling the changes great! Here are a few pictures over the past week. I am going to try and blog at least 2-3 times a week. Hopefully, once we get a little more adjusted to our crazy schedules I will have a little more time!

Tyler loves to play with chalk and draw pictures of animals, people and houses!

Such a rough life....right?
